Help me with my photography web project (4 hours to start) - PHP, MySQL, and UI skills needed

Two sessions needed, 2 hours each to work with me and teach me. European and North American based developers especially welcome. Do you consider yourself a extra-talented web developer? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge with others? If so this could be the beginning of a regular weekly cooperation. This project is to find someone who is not just good but amazing and enjoys sharing and teaching his/her knowledge. I'm an ex ASP, SQL server and Windows developer. It's been a about 10 years since my programming days and I'm now a business man. I'm doing this because I have some spare time and I want to teach myself open source technologies starting with PHP and MYSQL but progress is a little slow.. so I started my own PHP project and I need a developer to help me with it. At the moment what I have is a small PHP program on my remote server and it's around 70 lines of PHP code. The project reads EXIF (META data) from JPG files and displays it with every image. [login to view URL] (Complete EXIF dump) [login to view URL] (EXIF reading specific fields) So what do I need from you? you need to look at my code, and firstly talk to me about the PHP/MYSQL platform I'm intending to use. I like to hear your suggestions on this and bring me up to date with today's dev techniques. Then I want us to create a new MYSQL database (with one table) on my server and to start storing the image details and exif data into a single table. You need to be able to speak English so we can chat and be able to work fast and effectively. Additional skills such as Ajax, PHP Frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Phalcon, ... etc), JSON, Jquey and also UI skills (CSS, responsive designs) are especially welcome. Experience in image manipulation/resizing or previous web development in the photography field is hugely welcome. Remember this may become a regular arrangement with more hours and I have plans for monetising this project. My timezone is London/UK, so you need to have the ability to make the 2 sessions either mornings or evenings (my time). European/North American based developers are especially welcome.
