php website to connect to MSSQL

I would like to create a simple webpage that can run some relatively simple queries (which i already have, but am only running locally) and view images based on filtering the databse down. There are 2 options of doing this. I have tried by syncing the MSSQL db to MySQL and running the queries from there, but i am having some issues keeping the MySQL database up to date. thus, i would like to go with the second option, which is for this secured webpage (that you will make) to connect to my local MSSQL server (public IP) to pull up this information. (Unless you have a better solution). the Information will be simple. I have one table with thousands of items, grouped into CATAGORIES and SUB-CATAGORIES. i would like the webpage to populate and list all the catagories, and then list all the sub-catagories, and then all the images (and some info) of all the items in the table that match these filters. In the future, i would like to continue to work with the winning bidder to run some additional queries and develop the page further. For now, you will be bidding on creating a page that will login to MSSQL server and give me the images based on a filter the webpage user chooses.
