A developer built a WordPress plugin. I need some changes as I think the quality could be improved and it would make it easier to use and maintain. The most important part is about the method used to upload the user image (avatar). It should use WordPress function to upload media files in the WordPress library so that the image appears in the media library AND so that all the sizes (thumbnail...) for the image uploaded are created. Maybe look at: [login to view URL] Make sure to: - override max size allowed to 2 mb - only JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF. Update echo to show thumbnail size on line 110 of file update-user-profile.php. Usually done with something like: echo $varname['sizes']['thumbnail'] Remove unnecessary code. Attached is the plugin.
