I have built many similar systems in the past including one recently which processed 150k payslips, extracting information from the payslips using a custom AI model and sending this via webAPI to another system. I would propose first analysing requirements to decide on a recommended solution design. Depending on the format of the PDF and the information to be extracted we could look at using the built in Power Automate table extraction functionality. Then once familiar with the ERP entry points use the many options to transfer the data from Power Automate. Full testing, technical documentation and handover would form part of the proposal.
