Hello, We can use Google map API ==> select random 10 cities and calculate the 'crow-flies' distance between them. According to your requirement, not using any external API, we will generate data of 10 cities randomly. After that (having the cities data), we will process some 'graph-algorithm' to find the shortest path between two cities? I can make it in both cases. Please feel free to discuss! Regards

Hello, I am a full-time software engineer in the Boston area, just starting as a freelancer, looking to build my portfolio and reputation. Therefore, I am willing to do this job at a discounted rate. I have 6+ years of python experience, including many apps built using Tkinter. This project sounds straightforward. Using a simple BFS (breath-first search) algorithm should be sufficient in finding shortest paths in the map. My one question is source of map. Are you using actual street maps?
