install opencv on raspberry pi 3

Hi, I'm an electronic engineer with more than 5 years of experience in raspberry pi. I'm applying for the project as I have the previous experience in using OpenCV in RPI in some of my previous projects. I have used open CV for a face detection system for people counter. So I can help you with installing OpenCV on Rpi and run the example edge detection program. I would like to know which language you are choosing? I believe it is python.
