We are IPTV solution provider. We have build a secure module(authentication module) for secure streaming in wowza. We have a lot of experience with live streaming. Especially Nginx, WOWZA, Darwin, Red5, Live555... We have worked with FFmpeg, VLC for 5 years. My transcoder is based FFmpeg with some customize to more control and stable. We have also sucessful developed a Video Platform, VOD(video on demand) and Live Video. We have a lot of experience in live transcoding and streaming video. Your solution supports many inputs type as RTMP, UDP, RTSP, RTP, HTTP...output is encoded in H264/AAC over RTMP, UDP, HTTP...target devices are PC, tablet, smartphone( iOS, Android, Windows phone), smarttv. Hi, Thank you for posting your requirement. My name is Inderjeet and own a small 4 member IT services firm based at Chandigarh,India. We have been into IT since 1994 (MS-DOS based desktop software), into Web-apps since 2001, asterisk based VoIP solutions (asterisk, freepbx, freeswitch, elastix) and Wowza/FMS/red5/Kaltura based video streaming/VOD apps for about 5 years. We also maintain our clients' servers (mostly linux) on their behalf besides fiddling with our own Linux test bed VPS's and VMs. Currently exploring International clients for video streaming, backend support and VoIP related work through these portals for mutually beneficial and long lasting collaborations. HLS "chunks" are saved locally thus the problem. Which Wowza version are you referring to? The current one or the older 2.x ones? Foolproof security isn't possible but achievable via multiple methods, no single way can prevent circumvention. Secure token is no longer considered a security method. We can analyze and create a solution for your requirement but you'll need to provide some information for that, such as type/target of viewers, CDN used etc. I cannot provide a sample but you shd be able to decide (Been working on Wowza since ver1.7pro). I have implemented this secure solution through several components. The way it works basically is setting up an agent that will communicate with your players and it will only allow the players registered with a signature that's in MD5 encryption. Also there are other few things that will help you manage this. I have done this. I work for a company that does live streaming and uses Wowza servers. I could explain a lot more and provide a diagram for it to be clearer.
