Hey, if you want this done fast, safe and right, without having your project outsourced to someone else by an Indian lead hunter, I have commercial experience coding in C#, as well as teaching in a university setting so I can guarantee a program that not only works flawlessly but will look like a student project since I've graded a large amount of student coursework in a CS curriculum. And should any issues or questions arise, you'll be talking and dealing directly with me. I should be able to do this within 72 hours of awarding the project to me. Details we need are what you need in terms of recognition rates. Rotation I can deal with easily, bad quality/low resolution images, not so much. If you can give me a sample of what a bad quality image is, I can tell you if I can code something to reliably extract the bar code or not, as well as the minimum resolution that you would be providing in as source images. I have worked on a similar project which required bar-code scanning. Although I need more clarification on the project. Will you be using a device to scan bar-codes or are you looking for an app that will search & scan bar-codes in images stored on the system?
