I need a script or program created that I can input a text file into with a list of URL's and have it download X amount of those URL's per hour. Program should support downloading at least 2,000 files per hour (they are small image files) These three inputs should be part of the program Input: Text file with one URL per line (Example text file attached) Input: Choose directory to save files Input: Choose how many files to download per hour I prefer Windows based program with GUI if possible but linux and/or command line based is workable too. In your bid please include the following information. 1. What platform you would develop the program/script on? (Windows or Linux) 2. What language will you code the program in? 3. Is your option GUI or command line based? 4. How long do you estimate it would take you to deliver the finished product? Bids without these questions answered will be given low priority.

Hi, I have strong experience in Multithreading and Multiprocessing using Python. I can build a downloader exactly how you want. Here are my answers to the above questions : 1. I work on both windows and linux, so as you wish. (although this is no way related to if the program will be GUI or comand line as both can work on both OS with little bit of customization.) 2. I am pretty comfortable with Python. 3. I can implement GUI as well. (I recommend GUI only if someone is going to use the program who isn't pretty comfortable with comand line system.) 3. I estimate for 2 days maximum with command line and 1 more days with GUI.

Hello! I'm a cybersecurity student, based in Portugal and I'm actually pretty experienced when it comes to Python developing. I believe I'm capable of doing this job for you - as it seems fairly simple (besides the GUI part). To answer your questions: 1. Since I use Linux as my main operating system, I would be developing it for Linux (but I'm pretty sure it is compatible with Windows). 2. Python 3 3. I used to create applications with GUI for Windows with .Net as well. So regarding the points: 1. Any platform you wish. As I see, you would like to have Windows, there is no problem. 2. If you want GUI version for Windows, there will be C# then. 3. Both are not a problem. 4. I believe, the worst scenario will be 3 days.
