Quicktime Streaming Server (DSS) troubleshooting

I have installed, seemingly, Darwin Streaming Server ([login to view URL]) on a CentOS Linux box. I am able to broadcast. However, I can not tune in as a viewer making the installation pointless. I'm hoping to find a broadcasting expert to help me either troubleshoot my current installation, or install a fresh set up. The catch is I would really prefer not to give out root access. Although, I will if absolutely necessary.
