Looking for a Virtual Assistant

Monday - Saturday 6 hours per day - 6 days a week - 9am-3pm (London time) We are looking for a confident, self-starting, friendly and pro-active Office Administrator to join our growing student travel company. Candidate can be based anywhere around the world but must be available from 9am-3pm London time during the working days and MUST be logged into Skype during this period. The role will involve working closely with one of the directors of the business in a administrative capacity. It is a varied and busy role. You will be assigned a range of tasks each day including: - Collecting important information from customers in the build up to their trips - Bookkeeping, payroll & VAT returns - Approving supplier invoices - Payment reconciliation - Processing new bookings - Post-sales administration The key attributes we are looking for are: - Previous experience in an administrative role - Fluent English - Constant access to Skype - Strong attention to detail - Excellent organisational skills - A good level of Education, diploma/Degree/grad level or equivalent - Reliable and professional attitude - Ability to work under pressure and work to deadlines - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Confident and adaptable to using various software including the Mircosoft Office Suite. - Good time management skills to effectively manage multiple workloads - Book-keeping, invoicing, VAT and payroll experience (preferred not essential) Initial contract period will be 1 month trial. On completion of successful trial then contract will be renewed on a monthly basis.
