Hello, We seek bids from an experienced WordPress Graphic Designer to create unique WordPress sports theme, two templates and logo. It is our understanding, that this should be a fairly simple job for an experienced "WordPress themer". ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Design WordPress CMS style Sports Magazine theme front page with: >Four columns >Timed, rotating and flash Custom Image Header API embedded. >An easy method to upload photos & crop image header for “non-techs.” >Fixed “write panels”, “content boxes” or “blocks” for writers. (Adjustable content boxes would be preferred IF that can be done with WordPress) >Photo slide show with thumbnails, pause, etc. >Embedded video player with video thumbnails, pause, etc. >Widget ready >SEO friendly >RSS ready >Adsense and OpenX (Open Ads) ready >Ad Placeholders for 125x125 ads (easily removable or positionable) >OsCommerce or Zencart shopping cart ready >Ask us for “snapshots” from the web of what we have seen that we like. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Design unique logo for front page including our name, 6 sports balls & Lacrosse stick. >Baseball, basketball, soccer, football (American), golf, tennis ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Design generic template with: >Ability to change header on template with “custom image header” that can be easily duplicated. >An easy way to upload photos & crop image header for “non-techs” >Embedded video player with video thumbnails, pause, etc. >Fixed “write panels”, “content boxes” or “blocks” for writers. (Again, adjustable content boxes would be preferred) >Photo Gallery >Events Calendar ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. Design a generic template that is PDF printable with: >Fixed “write panels”, “content boxes” or “blocks” for writers and photos. (Again, adjustable content boxes would be preferred) >Ability to change header on template with “custom image header” >An easy way to upload photos & crop image header for “non-techs” IMPORTANT NOTE: All of this should be easily manageable by “non-tech” editors and writers. Note: We currently use WordPress 2.5.1 but will be upgrading as soon as more plug-ins are available. Consequently we need this project tested on both 2.5.1 and 2.6.1 (or the latest available at time of completion of project). We ONLY seek bids from a top quality EXPERIENCED WORDPRESS designer with positive feedback/references (on any bid site) and “real” website samples of work, not just generic themes! Please include websites with bid. With the success of this site we have other magazines planned for which we will need themes and logo designs. Also, success will create a need for a desktop publishing designer to design a sample hard copy magazine version. The best theme designer gets our future business! Designer must be able to provide mock-ups. Communication Requirements: Communication during the project will be handled via Skype phone, instant messaging and email. IMPORTANT NOTICE For All Bidders: You must have good communications ability. We prefer someone who is fluent in English for discussions of project on Skype phone (only, if you are a member qualified to give out contact info). We prefer individuals who are physically located in the United States or North America - that can be reached by telephone during normal business hours as the need occurs. However, the project is open to ALL reliable bidders WORLDWIDE who have the qualifications listed. All work produced is work for hire and we will retain ALL RIGHTS to work product.
