Joomla website customization

We have purchased a joomla virtuemart website template that needs customization. We have a designer who will be designing the content areas and customizing the template a bit, so please quote ONLY for development. Here is the template: [login to view URL] Here is the project overview: The Product Hockey Stockings are ‘NHL’ inspired Christmas Stockings specially designed for hockey enthusiasts all over North America. The product will be purchasable from the proposed e-commerce site and will be available in many different designs, each one relating to one of the thirty NHL hockey teams. The Project Overview The client requires a clean and simple e-commerce site to sell his products to customers in an ergonomic and user friendly manner. The primary goal for the site will be to sell product, therefore the product listing section will be visible on every page throughout the site with other information related to any selected category appearing in a secondary position below it. Payment Gateway Buying an item will be an extremely simple process; all it will take is the click of a button which in turn will link the end-user to an external PayPal payment gateway. There will be no product category page, no multiple levels to drill through, just a simple “Buy Now” and pay. Once the user has made their purchase on the secure PayPal page they will be directed back to the website. CMS Joomla! will be integrated to provide the client with the ability to edit, remove and add products whenever necessary as well allowing the freedom to conveniently edit content when required. The Structure The Sales Floor In order to optimize visitor-to-customer conversions, product listings will be available on every page throughout the site. Content related to any selected menu option listed below will be shown beneath the “sales floor”. The scrollable area at the top of the template is referred to as the "sales floor". ALL of the products on the website will be shown here. This website will NEVER have more than 30 products. The user will have the ability to enlarge the image and add the product to their cart from the 'sales floor'. The navigation for the site will run as follows: Home A page that welcomes the end-user to the site and explains what the product is all about. The content on this page will both sell the product and assure the prospective customer that they have arrived at the right place. Custom Orders This section will explain to the prospective customer how to make a custom order by presenting some instructions (if necessary) and examples of what can be done. This page will also have an inquiry form imbedded onto it. Policies and Returns A detailed explanation of the company’s policies. FAQs The content in this section will present popular questions and answers regarding the use of the site, the product and –if necessary- the company. Contact Us All the information that the end-user will need to contact the company will be made available here, including a full contact form. The template will need to be customized so that the main menu is placed BELOW the 'sales floor'. When an option in the menu is clicked, the content below will 'scroll' (like this: [login to view URL]) to the appropriate page keeping the header, sales floor and main menu visable at all times. That's really all there is too it. There are no product categories, no product detail pages.
