301 redirection and verification with GWT

We have 301 redirection already on our previous domain to our new domain and it works fine. Where we have the problem lies with doing google verification for the previous domain and new domain so that google will recognise the move and pass link juice appropriately within its system. I tried various trick in the htaccess but it just wasnt working. If you have done this before, it should take you between couple of minutes to 1 hour. 2 hour at max. The only resource you need access to is the htacess and i will upload your changes in the server and verify myself at google webmaster.
