CAB file .000 file format C++ class

ONLY FOR CODERS WHO LIKE A CHALLENGE! As the subject says, I would like a C++ class to read, write, and create the .000 format files. .000 files are header files found at the beginning of MS Cab files, and contain a packing list of the entire Cab file, as well as any registry settings to be applied as part of the Cab-based software installation process. Although the format is described on the [login to view URL] site at: [login to view URL], I suspect that this is not a complete description and that this will require some additional engineering. I can provide a variety of .000 files for testing & development purposes. (The spec linked above, as well as 3 sample 000 files are attached to this bid request.) The deliverable should be cross-platform C++ ( fopen() instead of CreateFile() ). It should not rely on any Windows-specific libraries that aren't available on other platforms. Thank you! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows, Unix or Mac -- cross-platform C++ code which should build for any of these platforms.
