Details:
-Software shall have things that an accounting with inventory and payroll software should have.
-We have so many branches. out which some branches will be connected online. For the rest of the branches there should be a option to create a file which will be used to merge the data with Head Office (HO)
-Data will be in lacs of records, application shall not be slow.
-Use Incremental Search for displaying list of master entries in Transaction form.
-Use 3-Tier Architect
-Reporting shall be like Tally Accounting software
-There should be a option to print the reports on Dot Matrix as well as Laser printers
-Ledgers, groups, items will be common for all branches
-Tax percentage on items will be different for different branches
-Consolidated reports for HO (Data of all branches)
-Users maintenance shall be branch wise. We shall be able to give and take rights of any form entry or report printing and viewing.
-Backup & Restore
-Maintain record of each entry deleted, modified, i.e. date of deletion/modification, user name, time, old data detail.
-There should be a List of users presently logged in.
