Converting VB6 dialup applciation to VB.NET

I have the need to convert a VB6.0 application to VB.NET (2005 +). The program's main function is to dial into a list of BBS using serial communication (using modem) to collect data and save them in a text file. The VB6.0 is using SAX ActiveX Comm Objects 8.0 for controlling the modem serial communication. I would like to replace it with Microsoft .NET serial Communication protocol instead. The application also uses 2 small SQLserver tables to hold BBS location and Dialing Up parameters. Potential bidders will be provide the application sample and related information upon request. Bill
