I need to make the results of this ABAQUS model converge with the experimental data curve (shown in the Excel sheet: Load vs Deflection). The current results shows a much higher yield and peak loading compared to the experimental data. The model files are attached to this project.

I offer to check fully the model CAE and to perform a mesh sensitivity study, which could be part of the problem. It is important to check all the contact properties assigned. Relevant Skills and Experience I have more than 6 years of experience in using Abaqus, and I work daily with structural integrity problems. I did a master and a PhD using Abaqus CAE as tool for structural analysis.
