£5-10 GBP / hour

The job available is an online teaching job where you will be using software like Skype called QQ to have live video sessions with pupils from China. Chinese students book sessions via your online timetable. The students book with us because they are taught by native Chinese speakers and cannot understand our accent when they come over to the UK or US. They tend to have a lot of pronunciation and grammatical problems which they hope to solve to pass the test that allows them to study abroad. The students are of various ages and differing ability. You will have set class materials and also free talking sessions where you can talk about anything. You do not need to know Mandarin as the class is conducted fully in English. We are in partnership with ZTE Chinese multinational telecommunications equipment and Systems Company. The ideal candidate will be friendly, happy, talkative, patient and able to notice and correct any errors. You will need to be available for a minimum of 20, 25 minute classes a week. You will be paid for every 25 minutes class you teach which is £3 which is an hourly rate of £7.20. Please send us over your CV and we will get back to you. Thanks, Tom

I understand exactly what problems might crop up due to poor communication skills, and I would be very happy to try and help these people get a solid grip over the English language. The crucial and fundamental process of learning a new language is only as effective as the tutor, and I do have a strong hold over my grammar, spelling, vocabulary, accuracy, fluency, etc. Since I am from India, my accent is unlike that of the Americans or the English. The Chinese shouldn't have a problem with this. As a matter of fact, this could do them some good, since in India, we pronounce every word as sharply and clearly as possible, without any affectation whatsoever. I can spend upto an hour and a half everyday, and I think this is enough time for me to build a good rapport with the candidate, understand his/her problems, attend to them with the utmost care, and in the end, help them master the fundamentals of the English language.
