I have done this work in matlab but have not made gui of it. Shall not be difficult for sure. Off course several window functions can be embedded for pitch detection thru a checklist and we can see their performance in separate gui window. Do you want down conversion function also of you will give down converted audio only as input. In any case it is easy to write that function :D Additionally we can put gui windows for time and frequency domain plots !

Hello, Is there a good reason you want to use Matlab GUI for this project? I have developed a very similar application in C# .NET which could be quickly adapted to your needs. The tool uses autocorrelation techniques to identify pitch and also calculates the maximum input energy using a sliding window FFT. Both results are shown in the GUI and the pitch note is also determined. As you may be aware pitch detection is a very tricky problem to solve and so I have implemented multiple methods for identifying pitch to try and cover most well known algorithms. Hey I am an electronic undergraduate. I have already done two projects to identify pitch. One is real time pitch correction system and other one is DTMF signal detection. I used FFT for pitch detection. I can do this.

I have 14 years of experience in Signal Processing that includes matlab modeling , implementation using C/C++. Same ( pitch detection , formant calculation , LPC etc ) thing I have done Matlab GUI based for acoustics feedback cancellation application. I would like to do this .
