Looking for an experienced engineer who has solid experience in developing MATLAB software and a deep understanding of calibrating PV and Wind analytical models. Key tasks of Phase 1 - Translate an existing excel based optimizer/solver and a 25 year financial model into MATLAB (and using MATLAB modules/add-ins such as Simulink as necessary) - Design the various underlying components of the optimizer and financial model in MATLAB to be fully modular and plug-and-play - Add functionality to output optimized 25-year financial model results in excel Key tasks of Phase 2 - Develop PV and Wind output time-series simulation models and calibrate those model using last 10-20 year PV and Wind output data - Add functionality in the MATLAB model to run Monte-Carlo simulations of financial model and plot distribution of IRRs There is a high chance of extension of the engagement for longer periods to develop and test digital twins of electrical/renewable systems in MATLAB.
