Requirements: Must have a strong background in Database Management Systems (DBMS) Proficient in SQL and database design methodologies Ability to produce diagrams and illustrations for the report Familiarity with Harvard Style of Referencing Report Structure: Page 1: Cover-sheet This will be the first page of the Assessment Brief, including all necessary details. Page 2: Title Page Database Design and Implementation for Construction Company Page 3: Executive Summary Summary of what the report covers and its objectives Page 4: Table of Contents Chapter 1: Introduction Introduction to DBMS Database & Database Users DBMS Architecture & Data Independence Chapter 2: Key Issues and Application of Databases Identification and analysis of key issues and applications within organizational environments Chapter 3: Features and Advantages of DBMS Evaluation of the features and advantages of DBMS Introduction to SQL Chapter 4: Database Development Methodology Identification and analysis of a database model Chapter 5: Entity-Relationship Modelling and Normalization Discussion on ER modelling and normalization Conclusion References At least 8-10 references written in Harvard Style of Referencing. Additional Notes: Each chapter should start from a new page Follow the headings and sub-headings as mentioned above All figures, tables, diagrams should be properly named Word Count: The report should not exceed 3,000 words.
