Looking for a way to automate file transfers. Source/Destination is FTP. Source has subdirectories for daily files. Source directories are in YYYYMMDD format. Each directory has typically a single file in [login to view URL] format, but it is possible to have duplicate files in different directories. there may be 2 [login to view URL] in 20170822 and 20170823 folders. The destination FTP is expecting all of the files in a single (home) directory. If there are duplicate files from the above, they should be uploaded as [login to view URL]; as long as the name is unique. Looking for small "web-app" to manage/monitor this. Would like to specify input/output ftp servers (with credentials) as well as logs of what was transferred. Would need this be automatically done on a daily basis (cronjob?) Once a directory from the source is processed, it does not need to be processed again. Email summaries of folders/files processed would be needed as well.

I believe your project can be completed with a combination of shell scripting (for the automated FTP process) and PHP for monitoring.
