I'm looking for a skilled and experienced developer to create an app template flow for me that will launch a new email in Outlook Desktop, with text populated from a SharePoint list. The app will be triggered by a button, ask for a file reference number and get the data from the SharePoint list record that has the reference number recorded in the equivalent field, to populate the text variables in the draft email. The purpose of this app is to help me partially automate the creation of draft emails, with a low level of customization using a simple template. The app will need to have read access to a test SharePoint list in order to populate the fields in the email correctly. The template must be delivered in an unrestricted form that we can further customise or use in other apps and must comply with all Freelancer and SharePoint security requirements. Hello Sir, I have worked on Outlook integration with SharePoint in the past. I can develop either a desktop application to read information from the SharePoint and open a new Email draft or even better, I can develop an Outlook Add-in, which shall add a new button on Outlook Ribbon and clicking it would fetch the SharePoint info and open a new Email. Hello, Thank you for Posting. What you described there is the work of Power Automate. With Power Automate you can trigger the action by a Button to get Data from a SharePoint List Populate to an email template and send it to the recipient. Do you have an Office 365 subscription? This will be required as Power Automate SharePoint and Outlook are part of the services included. This is the best way to go about it. So if you select an Item from the SharePoint List, it will trigger the flow and populate the email template and also send it to the recipient. I am a solution expert with over 15 years of experience.
