I have a disk space monitoring job that monitors all physical server in my environment, another job that monitors SQL Server service status. After using a cname for some SQL server and windows upgrade, everything work just as the initial server name except the two jobs that I mentioned above. I want the jobs to display the the original server name on my daily report.
