There should be a separate potentiometer to control the sound volume. It would be nice if the battery could last an hour or so on a full charge. Once installed into the fire truck, the battery should be able to be recharged through the onboard USB port so as not to have to remove it from the fire truck. Obviously, this would all have to be very small. I have measured the width of the Arduino MKR Zero (about 1") and it should fit within the fire truck no problem.
